Ordered myself an RSW All Comms.

Got an intermittent HDC inactive and read quite a lot of positive reviews about the All Comms product.

Hopefully the bus will be back from the bodyshop as the unit arrives!

So. I got the All Comms and installed it on my Windows VM running on my macbook (I don't have a physical windows machine) and it all worked fine.

I'm getting my car back from the bodyshop tomorrow (it's only been a month!) and I wanted to make use of my new toy so I tried running it and it's now saying that it won't work on a virtual machine. I'm a bit peeved as it never said that when I bought it nor did it complain when I initially ran it last month.

Anywho, I've emailed Storey so let's see what he comes back with. I've not had any dealings with him other than buying the product but from what I've read on here he seems quite prompt with replies.

8 minutes.

It took him 8 whole minutes to reply and it's now working as before.

It's an age since I've received customer service like that.

This is why whenever I talk of or mention The Legend that is Storey Wilson....I always precede his name with'The Legend that is...' as that is what he is....a total legend....always polite, courteous and quick ..... and it is all in his spare time from his day job....

Yeah, it was your positive comments about him and the software / tool that drove me to getting this one rather than one of the other ones to be honest.

Getting her from the restorers tomorrow, can't wait. (When I bought her the moron who had her beforehand had vinyl wrapped her in fluorescent yellow and put overfinch decals all over the place) :wtf:
