Opinions please

Ok, my plan was to get some modulars and 235 70 tyres and fit a lift kit, I bought the lift kit and found a set of modulars for sale. However they came with good 215 70 tyres. I want to fit the lift kit but I am concerned that these tyres will not fill the arches. The pic shows the Freelander as it is now, has anybody else used 215 70 tyres with a 40mm lift?





What do you think, will it look ok lifted with these tyres?

Personally, I don't think it will make any difference what so ever!

235/70 tyres will only be 14mm taller anyway, so wont have much difference on the looks of the arch gap.

Got 215 70 on mine with about an inch lift (2 on the back but extra weight) and it looks great, although I would have gone for the 75 or even a 205 80.

Just for comparison, here is mine on 215/60R16 tyres.

And here it is on 225/65R17 tyres
