Oooops Check Engine

Ooops!!!!

Long story abridged version:-

Rear wiper wouldn't work
Bought 2nd hand unit, wrong sort!!
Bodged wiring got the "new" wiper motor working

Tightened bolts etc recheck motor... Now intermittent, sussed this was due to the wires just being pushed into the socket, went to fix that ended up with it now not working at all and check engine light on :doh:

Could this be that I have blown something in the ECU?

Not sure, about ecu, but bear in mind the rear wiper doesn't work with the drivers door open for some reason, that confused me, made me think there was a problem a while back?! Discovered this after a lot of checking fuses wires motors etc.....arse

Ahhhhh that may be why it didn't work
But doesn't explain the check engine light that is now on!
