Yes if there tracking it when the call is made and only if the battery is in it. I doubt they'll bother for a garage getting iffy phone calls. how many times have you picked a phone up to silence because some cold calling comp, has used a computerised bulk caller.

Nah, Slob - lets get it done with a little more finesse, like Rets way. As this has been such a protracted thing, we need Ebony to list all the things she's had to put up with from the start, in one thread. I've read through most of her woes and am damned if I can remember all. Name and shame - the barsteward might even have the balls to come on to the forum, although I think this is TOO much to hope for.

wtf do you mean "nah,slob"? it wur the pikey that wur on about wasting his own time wiff silly phonecalls, all i said was if she informed us of who it was then others could avoid the same treatment.

Well, I am a bit supprised by the responce on this thread, thank you all for the support.

Right, you lot have motivated me into asking questions and making enquiries as to where I stand legally. However, I have a feeling that my possition will not be good, hense the reluctance to name and shame as I don't want to be on the receiving end of any legal action.

As for the person comming forward, that wouldn't happen. From what I have heard, he is also a coward (allegidly), therefore have the balls to being honest and own up just won't happen!

Apologies due Slob and duly sent. Mouth operated before brain was engaged methinks!
Looks like Ebony is going to go ahead - I think we would all understand the watered down something like "was quite disappointed with the advise and service" type of thing - nowt that can bring on legal aftershock. Must be a right bugger to have to haul a horse and trailer all the time for when the thing to breaks down so the damn horse can tow it home

Well, I think I have been lucky, so far the two times it wouldn't start, it was somewhere where help was at hand (Once in Devon and once in Warwickshire). The thrid time was while I was towing and I just didn't stop! And that was when the propshaft coupling went under load and I managed to get the horse home, me home, then back out to pick up parts and onto the work shop! Drove very carefully and slowly! Annoyed alot of people!

Like I say, so far I have been lucky and I hope it stays that way. I have been supprised (and greatful) for all the help and advice that I have recieved since December when I brought my landy. The real test to see if the lack of towing power has been resolved will be on Sat 2nd. I am taking two horses over to Cirencester and there are some very big hills to climb!
