Yes, you need something solid to anchor to to and it ****es it down all the time in Belize.

We got "lucky" with the rain, it didn't happen much, but when it did it all came in like 10 seconds. Which was quite refreshing. But during those 3 days, not a single drop. My kit was white with sweat at the end of each day, had to jump in a pond to clean it. Good fun though, 10/10 would recommend.
