Hi all

So, I have a problem at the moment, where, on occasion, I shut the door on my 1989 one ten, and it locks itself. It is not the interior pull handle which is at fault though. I have to open the window, and put the key in the lock and turn it so that I can open the door again!

Which part is it I need in order to fix this issue?

Many thanks
Tom

take door card off, clean all linkages and lube with silicon based lube.
Probably its not quite unlocking properly from the outside, and closing the door vibrates the linkage enough to lock it again, mine did something similar when I got it, this cured it.

My Ninety drivers door sometimes does that - I've just learnt to leave the door ajar when the keys are in the ignition ;) I'll sort it properly when I get time.

mines developed a habit of every few days to weeks of refusing to latch the drivers door.
only solution is to lock it, then close it, tricky bit is now, to unlock it again requires certain way of jiggling the key (to try to unlock, cos it now wont) and pressing the button to get back in!!
must sot it, got new lock barrels for it as well, then I wont have 5 different keys for it!
