P38A One more tailgate problem

Even though it's saying they've failed, do you have voltage to the fuses?

If not, then F12, 13, 14, 15 are all powered from the same Maxi Fuse - MF4 - 60A, which also powers RL10 in the BECM on the power board).

If you get voltage there, and you still have the fuse failure warnings, then I'd be tempted to lift the lid on the BECM and see if there's any corrosion on the power board that could be causing the fuse failure warnings, or maybe it's a gremlin!!

Thanks Marty and you too Tony. I'll check that out. I will have to get a new tailgate switch,the contacts were ok but the o ring is split and the spring is rusted.

Spot on Marty,mf4 blown. Fuel flap working and rear tailgate as well when I swopped the button from the red one. New button needed.
