After a year of landy ownership i finally got to go on a trip last sunday,albeit to the petrol station and back,
I headed off to penzance with trepidation,
This series 2a/3 dec'69 was in quite a sorry state when i aquired her last may.
I have had the door pillars agriculturally welded,more substance over style,
New brake shoes,new slave cylinders,new brake lines and fittings,servo+master cylinder fitted,correct wheels fitted,the spaghettish wiring removed and the original loom remade,new switches where required,rebuilt dashboard,'as new' parabolics at both ends,new dampers and bushes + loads more bits and bobs,
She is a pleasure to drive and stops on a sixpence with the 11inch tls setup,
