Hello and welcome 
A 1988 90 hardtop, new (non-galvy) chassis fitted before I owned it & is my 1st venture into 'boingy' territory around 5 years ago now with an actual Landy as my previous Landy vehicles have all been Classic Rangies, the first a 2 door V8 manual, the 2nd one sporting a York 6 cylinder & the 3rd a 101 GS, the 4th being a most impressive towing Rangie with a 3.8 Perkins, and my 5th, a Series 1, 2 door Discovery, V8 of course, my last before my 90.
Heathrow - snow! Up country, we get excited whenever we get snow down this far. I'll have to dig my passport out to come up that way! People calling down this way often tell me on the phone they're not far away when they've reached Exeter. Sooo funny! EVERYTNG slows down south of Exeter.Hello and welcome
Hello John. Great artwork. In my ex-town of Hayle a regular car/vehicle meet is held once a month, American muscle cars, Rods, vintage 80's, a Mk1 Golf cabriolet at the last in original condition, & even a Massy Fergusson & Fordson Major tractors & 3 Landys this time, one a 107 series 1! A young girlie is often seen sat in front of a car, pencil drawing & at a previous meeting I asked if she would draw Rubix, my Landy. She defo has great skills & I was happy to pay her the £5.00 suggested at the last meet. With artists, the world would be a dull place indeed. Nigel

Without, WITHOUT artists in this world. Doh, but you got it anyway. I'm more into writing, but love the instant 'punch' of images. Ha, ha. Keep it up!
Many thanks. All's quiet on the 'needing to be repaired front' atm. There's still a ton of stuff on the job list but none of it prevents the vehicle performing its duties as a daily driver. A working heater is presently at the top of the list. I think the hose's have come off but I have plans to replace it with something with a bit more ooomph at some point. Most Landys are a work in progress so I guess there is no reason to think mine is any different! Ha, ha. Is that a series 3 on the yellow taxi in your image pic?
No, my 90. It had another trip on the big yellow taxi last week when it dropped all its engine oil on the drive into work! I think it just wanted a free ride in.
Its probably just remembering its roots - we never succeeded in keeping all of the oil in all of the time in my dads 1960 series 2! I know they like marking their territory. On a positive note, at least the deck of the transporter will now last a little longer with a coating of oil...
