Rangie got her new airbags and height sensors, the frigging price of it  anyway she's on her bump stops so it needs to be recalibrated, would I be right in saying that ? I am not going to a main dealer cos they are too expensive so I heard of a mechanic that bought diagnostics machine.I went to him today and he said he would connect her up for 50euro.Just wondering would he have to have a special software just for rangies and is a simple enough procedure.Im going to change the air suspension to coil suspension but I could do with a few weeks grace, recession and all the rest.Any info would be great, thanks

i would stick with the eas as there cant be that much wrong now!
its still going to cost hundreds to change it all to cacky coils and when you sell it are you going to loose a sale because of the lack of eas?

the eas has its probs but when its working there great lol

Don't goto coils, ESPECIALLY if you just splashed out for new height sensors and bags.

Even with all the height sensors replaced it still shouldn't sit on its stops. Does the vehicle raise AT ALL??

Is there a fault message on the dash??

put it to high setting and then leave it over night, if it goes down there is a air leak. if not then it will just want calibrating via the above cable and software. as you have had the bags changed it shouldnt be them, check all the pipe joints with soapy water spray and if you dont find a leak look under the bonnet at the eas pump, if no leak there then its gonna need a refurb kit off fleebay!

cheaper than 50 euro for a plug in and it will be fixd!!
