Hi all,
My names Alan, and i'm now crapping myself because I've just bought a 1996 5 door discovery v8i with an lpg conversion on E-bay despite being ordered not to by the missus. Well, she was at work as the auction came to an end and I just couldn't help myself. She only cost me just over 500 quid, (the disco, not the missus) but there's no mot and both rear outer wheel arches just inside the door need replacing. I'm sure I'll find plenty more that needs fixing lurking where I could't see when I viewed it, but i'm expecting that coz I've had old landys in the past, but never a v8. I expect i'll be pouring over the advice and info in this forum for the forseable future,and probably asking the odd dumb question, so I look forward to chatting soon, very soon probably!
