Freelander 1 Old clutch friction disk for EV conversion?

Hi guys
As you may know I'm in the (very early) process of electrifying my Freelander and one of the hurdles is coupling the electric motor to the gearbox. @Nodge68 has kindly agreed to assist with his lathe but we need an old clutch friction plate from a FL1 TD4 to make the gearbox side of the coupler. It doesn't matter if it is used as we intend to cut it down to just the centre part anyway.
I can buy a new one for around £50 but I'm a tight bu@@er and am trying to keep costs down. Also buying a used one to then destroy it seems wrong somehow for an EV conversion.
If anyone can help please let us know.

Because that's currently still in the vehicle.

And still being used for towing about our lane and brother in laws fields.

A slight update on the begging in the original post is I may end up with a petrol car for this conversion so in that situation I would need the friction plate from a 1.8 K series.
If anyone is able to help I will cover any postage costs and buy you a pint of Guinness next time your over here.
