I have a Discovery 2 Td5 that has just had its cylinder head done. Since I have got it back the oil warning light flickers occasionally - the engine has plenty of oil but I would like to fix the warning light to put my mind at rest. I assume it must just be a sensor or something that is not properly connected?

First things first, Check the oil level. If this is ok then check the connection to the oil pressure switch. If this is ok then I would try replacing the switch. If it still iluminates then you have a big problem. What year is your TD5? Early ones had a problem with the oil pump bolt coming loose.
