Oil seal transfer box,

hi i am about to replace rear oil seal in transfer box, but in haynes manual it says replace the nut,steel and felt washer on the output flange, dose anyone know what size these are?? Or where to source ?? Or if theres a kit,, i all ready have the oil seal, but didnt want to strip landy down and not have all the bits, any help or tips welcome

please.........................

dont bother ,washer and nut last forever,book is obviously written by someone who has never used either

To clarify on what James has said, replace the main oil seal and the felt washer. The big nut and the steel washer should be fine, though you could replace the nut as well if you wanted to be ultra secure. Nyloc nuts shouldn't be reused if you're being proper, but it's rarely an issue. Especially when done up as tight as these ones are!

Tbh, ive changed both of mine and re-used the felt washer both times.

I think buster has a guide on this with lots of pictures.
