oil return pipe 200tdi

i ve been told by a friend that the oil breather(left of rocker cover if your stood directly infront of landy) has a pipe that runs back to the air inlet just after the air filter that puts excess oil (normally gunky) through ur turbo ect should be took off , pluggin the air inlet end and sending the oil pipe some where else. is this correct ????????

That is basically covering up a deeper problem, like crank case pressureisation.
