Oil light on all the time

First you need to find out if the pressure is low. Fitting an oil pressure gauge shouldn't be a big job. Then you can either ignore the light if the pressure's OK, or think about buying a new engine if it's not.

I agree - get a pressure test immediately then go from there - if its the pressure switch costs a few quid if its the engine an few thousands!!!
