I have had an annoying oil leak around the oil filter ever since I bought my Disco 300tdi 12 months ago.
Oil always ran down the filter and dripped off the bottom and has been making a right mess on my drive, and recently its been getting worse. I knew it was not the filter as i have changed it twice so far.
Well today a mate of mine clambered under my Disco, I asked him to look as I pressure washed it all off yesterday and i still could not find the leak.
Turns out it was the oil pressure switch, oil was leaking out from the body of it around the plastic section, £3.08 later for a new switch and its fixed
So if you have a similar leak it may well be the oil pressure switch
