Hi All
Even I changed the crank cover gasket a few days ago I still have leak somewhere on the right back side of the engine. It can be seen first on the bottom of the FPR (see photo) than it covers the block below and finally drops from the bottom of the bell housing.
First I have thought that the FPR leaks but it does not smell fuel and put it on a paper next to a drop of diesel and surely different.
As the cover gasket changed, where the hell it still comes from? Could it be the intake manifold gasket?

Hi. If there is leak around the rocker cover it's not enough to change the gasket, you need 13 x ERR7266 new genuine grommets too and bolts tightened to the correct torque ... i had such leak and didnt stop untill new grommets were fitted, it's dry like a bone now and no sealant was used except those two drops recommended at the rear(mine is Eu2, on Eu3 sealant is not needed at all), if you used sealant make sure it didnt get into the oil drain hole(B) cos then pressure builds up there and it will leak out in that area

Thanks Fery! No I have not put any additional sealant as mine is EU3. I have changed 6 of the back grommets, the others look fine. Now there is no any oil leak around the cover but I still have oil on the FPR and below:mad:

Update. Seems that I still have leak but only under the half moon area of the rocker gasket. Sh..t, just recognized, I have ordered the bad part ERR7094 instead of LVP000020..
problem solved...

This is the differance between the two gaskets. Lesson learned.
