Hi guys

Im asking for a friend (said i would lok into it).

He recently had a new cambelt (200Tdi disco 1) and since then seems to have
sprung a new oil leak.

Now it looks to be coming from somewhere at the top of the timing case, im
going to clean it off and give it a proper look later in the week, but was
wondering if there was any kind of oil seal/gasket that gets disturbed when
you do the cambelt on one of these ?

Thanks all

johnty

No oil seals should have been disturbed changing the belt,
only the dust seal on the crankshaft - there shouldn't be
any oil behind that!

It might be a good idea to check the oil level as a starting
point.
