hi,im back yet again,
ive got an oil leak from the back of my engine.the breather pipe from the cyclone filter is soaked in oil from about 20 cm from cyclone round the back of the engine to the other end.ive stripped the pipe breather not leaking, injectors not leaking.i cant find wet oil around the back of the head gasket, the rocker gasket is new and bone dry.i cant find a hole or split in the pipe,i cleaned and dried the pipe, put it back together and about a week later exactly the same,my nice new drive is covered in black oil spots.and the oil is drippein on the the exhaust down pipe and dripping on to the ground from where the down pipe meets the middle section of the exhaust.im totally at a loss with this can anyone help me yet again.
thanks

are you sure its not coming out of where the cyclone enters rocker cover ,the flange doesnt go all around cyclone spigot and they are a bugger for leakng i silicone around oring before fitting

I have the same problem. found another leak on the vacuum pump. will be taking it off over weekend and putting some gasket sealant on it. Was really hard to spot. cleaned the engine bay with loads of wd 40. Then jet washed it all off. dray and clean as a whistle till I went on Motorway got home few drops on the road. From the vacuum pump. Let you know if it stops the leak.

thanks john,

something cheap n simple and the oil leak is gone, pipe n clips all in cost me £4.50

sweet deal cracking job and sound advice from you mate.

thanks

richard
p.s.ile be checking the vac pump later i think it might have a weep on it,ile give a week n check again

I got similar problem with mine, cleaned engine bay and vacuum pump was culprit as well. Just gotta save the pennies for new one, till then it's parked on old carpet on the drive to save the gravel :L

Hi freediscoranger.if the vac pump is weeping at gasket ive read on hear you can just take it of clean it and gasket seal it unless your pumps actually knackered thats wot ile be doing to mine as pumps sounds fine itself
Cheers
Rich
