Long story, couple of weeks after i bought the TD5 in October last year i found the heater was only blowing cold, checked coolant level and found the expansion bottle to full of engine oil, checked the engine oil level and found it to be empty. Had the headgasket replaced and head pressure tested and all seemed to be well again.
Fast forward to today, just checked the levels on the car for the first time in a few weeks (yeah i know ive been lazy lately, should check at least every week) ive found the expansion bottle to be full of oil and not showing any oil at all on the dipstick. Heater is blowing hot still and no other symptoms of any kind.
My question is, is there any other way of oil getting into the coolant other than headgasket/head failure?
When the gasket was replaced the mechanic used metal pegs instead of the standard plastic if that makes a difference?
