Oil filter 19J

Hi guys my oil filter is stuck in place I've destroyed it trying to loosen it, so I've got to remove the plate it mounts to I'm guessing there is a gasket behind it but is there any thing else that's gonna be a bitch if I pull it off ? I would look in my Haynes manual but it's hiding from me having a bad day me thinks !

Have you tried a screwdriver all the way through and then twist?

Yeah I think it's lock tighter or some sh1t I've torn it apart with screwdrivers and chain whips etc

sounds like someone forgot to oil the seal when putting it on......oops

Nah it's more than just the rubber not lubed its wrenched up like I dunno what

can you pull the whole housing off and get it in a vice? might be easier in the long run rather than ****ing about in the cold trying to free it in situ.

That's my plan but I dunno what's behind it am I gonna have bits drop out or is it just a plate ?
