Oil Change - Help!

Hi Guys,
Just changed the oil on my 2.25 petrol. Started it up and no oil pressure! Turned it off, quickly!
Leak around oil filter cover seal and seems like oil isn't flowing through. Any ideas?
Should there be anything inside the oil filter cover other than the filter and a spring? Have I dropped something?

Did you replace the rubber O ring round the top of the filter?
If yes, did you remove the old one?

did you run it for a couple of minutes to allow the new filter time to fill up ?

Yep replaced the seal, and removed the old one.
Didn't run it for that long, how long do you reckon it should run for before the light goes out?
