Hi Guys,
I am having a problem on my 2007 Freelander2 2.2 TD4. I experienced sudden very rough running and just managed to get the car home. I ran the code reader and got the following codes P 1259 - Immobilizer to power train control signal error, P0570 - Speed control Acceleration signal error and P02E8 - Diesel Intake Airflow Position Sensor - circuit low. Having looked up the codes I decided to remove and inspect the throttle body. This was very heavily fouled with oil and when I stripped the motor cover plate, I found the gear cavity " full of oil". This is when I started looking for breather filter problem and is where I am stuck, as the engine/filter configuration on my car is very different from the lay out in which a BMW filter can be incorporated. Can anyone shed any light on where and if, there is a replaceable filter in this configuration. I enclose a diagram of the layout in my engine compartment. Thanks
