Got my renewal beginning of next month, so just rang my long term insurer Adrian Flux for a renewal quote, as last year they again matched my best quote of £220.00, but this year, not a hope in heck, their cheapest is min of £270.00, which is a shame, as they were really good when a muppet decided to side swipe me 2 years ago....plus they are happy with off road mods.

So will have to spend a day of my life that I will never get back going through the 'compare' websites to see what is the cheapest - as certainly don't want to pay the thieving buggers any more than I need....

I had an interesting quote from Adrian flux this week, they could give me a best quote of £880 but Flux direct there sister company quoted £600. Seeing as they are both underwritten by the same company I couldn't understand why they couldn't match it.
 
We used lancaster broker. all mods declared
+2" lifts
mud tyres and mod rims
safari snorkel
winch and winch bumper
flat dog arches
checker plate
poly bushed
plus others and we pay £364 fully comp with protection,brake down,full glass cover, and hire car. excess wasn't bad at £50 either. May shop around again next yr as there are cheaper quotes again i see
