L322 offside door catch cable

To replace this it advises to disconnect the Battery to remove the air bag out of the way, what concerns me will it be immobilised when I reconnect the battery ? and will I need Hawkeye or similar is the icarsoft i930 scan tool any good?

I have disconnected the battery on my L322 numerous times with no issues...

And yes, you do need to disconnect the battery and also remove the airbag module....

I did a How To a while ago about changing the door latch mechanism which shows the module, release cable and etc.

Don't forget to follow the correct disconection procedure or the satnav can fry.
