Gonna be doing a bit of off roading on a LRE day tomoz . Just been thumbing through the hand book checking a few bits were ok and read the OFF ROAD bit . It says I need a gromet type screw in the bottom of the timing belt cover . I aint got one and dont have time to get one either, I take it its to stop muddy water getting in there ?? So will it be ok to navigate a few deep puddle's ? Also it says if I go over 1/2m deep water then I should remove the cd autochanger !!! I'll take that on board as the interior fills up with water :D:eek:

it'll leak like, well a landy. The good news is is leaks out again so quickly. The plug your on about is the wading plug. Its not the end of the world if ya dont get one but is advisable.Check all fluids after wading, change when needed

Well had a great time and was well impressed with the Discovery . So was my mate who own's a soft roader . It only leaked in a little water and my quick fix "wading plug " worked a treat (blue tak) . The Disco worked like a proper trooper and never failed in any of the hurdle's thrown at it ...... well impressed with the beast I'am , so much so I've cleaned it today :D
