I have an l322 td6.the 3.on a 03 plate. Drove round the block didn't seem to respond as normal. Then it just died no revs at all. Started long enough to get stuck in the middle of the road cut out again got it home doesn't seem to hold any revs at all turns over fires not dies. Had new lift pump in line pump and filter not 150 miles ago. There does seem to be a lot of air coming threw the filter pipe to the engine. It has 1/2 a tank of fuel any help would be greatly appreciated as I am considering getting shut of it I love to hate it at the minute

Try posting in regional forum see if anyone's nearby with diagnostics kit. Most members will help you out for the price of a few beers and some cake.

Is the fuel filter and all pipe connections secure?

If you have air in the pipe lines I would be tracing the pipe lines back till I found how the air was getting in, fixing it then go from there with air in there the high pressure pump will have trouble.
I seam to remember someone had part of the intank pump come off so it just sucked air.

As above, find out where the air is getting in, no diagnostic tool will tell you the answer to that.
