Off Road Antics - Video at Parkwood 4x4

Just a wee video of me having some fun at Parkwood 4x4, near Leeds this weekend.

Buggered the alternator up though and mysteriously have no oil left in there... Oops.

Very Nice. I was there all day Sunday as well. In with the York & Lincs 4X4 Response.

I'll have to give you a camp wave next time!

It was a good day, although cut short by a slightly bent trailing arm! Fortunately a mate lives about 5 minutes away so brought me a spare, but the flat battery meant no more playing for me.

Oh dear that looks bent... Yu didn't really work on it while it was held up in the air on just an hi-lift with nothing chocking the wheels did you? :doh:

Nooooooo... I had all three wheels chocked, you just can't quite see from the picture... I'm not that daft!

I minimised time under it and gave it a bloody good wobble before I went near it!

I always chuck a couple of wheels under the fookers anorl. At least then ya know it isn't gonna land on top of ya..

Good thinking batman - the wheel was safely out of harm's way and the spare was sat comfortably in the back. Do'h! And here's me trying to swap my face for an axle!

Not surprised you bent stuff if you were wellying it round that quick all day! Looked like you were halfway through a comp safari!

Lovely looking motor though, did i see all four wheels off the ground at the end of that video?

Yeah, it's a flying Landy!

The trailing arm was slightly bent before and it got an advisory on the MOT. Was going to do it soon as well. Oh well, I have now! I had only just polybushed it so all my greased-up bolts came off no problem which was quite fortunate!

fookernell, nice vid! Looks like most of that puddle went straight in yer forward facing safari snorkel though!!!
