Oddity on the Bay. 4 door '1972' Range Rover, with 4L EFI

I think I like it! And I think mine might end up turning out like that. But obviously will stay as an '88.

Would be interesting to crawl around underneath it and check out if there is anything of the '72 left other than say a vin plate. Has it actually got a 4.0L engine & injection system, or is it another case of people rounding up the 3.9 hotwire to 4.0 to make it sound better?

think its one of them motors thats not quite whats it says it is,
nor is it what it says it is either.....errr, if that makes sense..

Well I did say it would be interesting to crawl around underneath. IE would be interesting if it actually was a '72, or just a dodgy vin plate/v5 swap on a later 4 door.

But does seem quite dodgy...
 
could just about be a 4 door as they were introduced then IIRC , before then you had to buy a Monteverdi to get 4 doors HTSH
