Odd clutch! Def TD5

Changed the master and slave for TRW/OEM no blue bag rubbish, all has been good for about 1k miles maybe more until today the pedal felt a bit odd (still changed gear fine) got to work and checked this afternoon no fluid! Bone dry. Managed to drive home with nothing, again still changed gear quite well with a bit of effort.

Master looks dry, slave has a slight weep but nothing huge, all other pipes look dry.

Any ideas?

Bloody brand new! Weeping where the slave joins the bellhousing

thats poor then, a lot of named parts are only badged unfortunately

Very. Genuine AP one too (FTC5202G) Refilled the fluid and re-bled the clutch, hopefully itll be alright. I'll keep an eye on it though, if it goes again I'll be asking for a replacement.

Fit a Britpart one. Mine has been fine for 44,000 miles

Checked again this eve, fluid level has dropped and wet around the slave. Looks like the slave has failed. Emailed the supplier for a replacement.
