P38A Odd braking behaviour

It was only from reading on the forums that I figured out what might be wrong, then tested it without the engine running. Could hear the pump kicking it. Engine running it was being completely drowned out by the shot EAS compressor. That is the next big job, along with the solenoid block overhaul, once the service has been done. I fix them while SWMBO puts her professional model making skills to good use fixing the rusty bits. I don't have the patience for that sort of work!
