OBD READER

Anyone got any views on a good OBD reader for the Defender 90 (2001 model). I see there are some plug-in readers which you then view on your laptop or phone and then there are those that the self-contained units with plug, lead and reader. Would appreciate any advice

Nanocom or Hawkeye, if its a TD5 engine, I do not know of any cheap readers that will work with the TD5, if anyone else does I would be interested to know which ones do. I have an ELM327 and another generic reader and neither will connect with my TD5.

Yeah, cheap ones don’t work.... my nanocom has just turned up and now getting used to it. When you purchase their stuff you get access to a members area full of help, I haven’t yet had a chance to explore this but yet
