OBD reader

Hi all I Have a problem with my Citroen dispatch van I use for work engine just died when driving and will not start, thought at first timing belt but looks okay, so think a sensor or electrical problem, I have a cheap OBD 2 reader that I did not get on with, I have a Nanocom for my TD5, will that work as a OBD2 reader on my van? if not what would be a good general OBD2 reader to buy, I have a freelander TD4 so would be good to read faults on that too

It's doubtful whether your Nanocom will work, it's been unlocked for a Td5 Disco 2, which isn't fully OBDII compliant. Your best bet is to become friends with that cheap OBDII code reader again.

Maybe your cheap OBDII scanner needs an update.
