After getting my 300 tdi es auto running after a 6 hour head scratch its finally running nice but my god arnt they gutless! I had a 300tdi manual and that could shift. I read a thread a couple of day's ago about turning the turbo up but now I can't find it!
How do I search threads or is it a case of looking through them thanks

Just a thought, my 300 tdi auto goes a lot better after a cam belt job.......the cam was one tooth clockwise from where it should have been....now its correct.......goes very well, even the wife noticed......but its still rattly...putting it right didnt fix that :Cry:

Getting the damper pulley of was a right PITA but other than that the cam belt job was straight forward.

Its in for the MOT as we speak which im a bit anxious about, its been stood since march so we'll see how that goes.......... but I'll be doing a full service cam belt oil, oil and filter diff, trans oil ect so we'll see what happens from there p.s I'll keep you posted on the MOT hopefully the list won't be too long

So......... it failed but only on a bit of welding on the arch (within 30cm of seatbelt mount) so that's getting done today so all good
