Now then all!

Noob from east yorks here looking to own my first LR. Spent many a fun hour ragging 90's and 110's round army ranges (more fun when you aint got to pay to fix em) and finally in a position to get one.

Came on here for a bit of info and advice. Probably looking for a cheap Disco as the missus wont go in for a deffender and freelanders seem to have a few issues.

Aye, but to be fair ours had a fairly vigorous service schedule, when things went wrong it was usually down to driver stupidity

Oh...and just got mi first Landy...a Freelander, and don't give a toss what they say about'em. I love it.

Cheers for the welcomes. Missus says i'm loony cause i've already started bugging her 'bout going on expeditions, she's wishing she didint agree to a landy now (its only taken two years of bugging).

And i really was considering a freebie, till i had a proper look round one and realised they're a bit, er..............wel you know

Well, i'm checking out a disco on sunday so if all goes well should be a proud new owner shortly.

Now, where'd i put me toolbox?

Well picked up my disco today and am well chuffed, drives like its done half the miles (got 191000 on clock). A couple of niggly faults but nout that wont take a few min to fix.

Oh and i somehow managed to bust the rear door latch when i got home so cant get in the boot, oh well gives me something to do tomorrow
