On my disco1 300tdi Auto the brake lights are not working but the Bulbs are fine
Is there a switch on the Pedal ??
And the indicators do not work when selected on the stick but work when you press the hazards light button ? Is this the relay not working if it is whereabouts is the indicator relay situated on the discovery its doing my head in can Find it !! And to top it all off now Bonnet will not pop open grrrrrrrrrrr

Can't help on the other things but my bonnet hasn't opened since the last plains trip haha

Although I do think there is a switch behind the brake pedal think its white possibly maybe...

Sounds like lack of maintenance ...

grease the bonnet cable when you wrestled it open ...

Relay should be on the front of the fuse board below the steering wheel...

If you have had the vehicle off-road you should check the connections at the bulb holders and the switch ...

If when off-roading you've 'whacked' a bump hard you may have jarred the inertia switches...

Brake light switch is different for ABS and non-ABS
 
The inertia switch makes hazards come on when a sudden ikpact.shouldnt affect indicators dont think.check fuses and relays.or it could be a dodgy indicator stalk
