not urgent...compression test-tonbridge kent,p38

Just seeing if there's anyone local,who could compression test my p38 2.5 diesel...bought the beast last month and replaced whole cooling system due to overheating and coolant leaks....I've sorted out leaks,got it running lovely ,but occasionally temp spikes to red ...on advice from senior members ...I'm asking for some help here ....not urgent ....I'm in tonbridge ,Kent....I have loads of tools but lack the experience with compression testing ....many thanks Johnny

A sniff test might be in order too

I done a sniff test ....chemical stayed blue....but was told by 4x4 shop in Maidstone,that you can't test the bmw this way as sniff test don't work with these engines....but when I search on the net ,many people do..��...was advised by wammers to get a compression test....great fellow has helped me loads this week ...thanks mate....Cheers livers ,I,m going to do it again as I bought eBay kit ....Faith on sniff test restored
