P38A Not turning over

Hi all got fuse box back fitted brand new battery fully charged all lights coming on dash but not turning over at all re sync becm to ecu still nothing help ,,,,,,,,, please any suggestions much appreciated

Try moving the gear selector back n forward ,inhibitor switch ,Or check small wire to rear of the starter motor solenoid if its broken or disconnected...earth to engine might be poor ,try a jump lead to earth it

You could also try a wire from the positive terminal to the small terminal on the starter solenoid to check the starter is working.

Inhibited from starting by lock-outs or not enough earth/current to starter?

Did you check the big bastard fuse? Early models was shared with EAS compressor so unplug that if it is blown, replace then try again.

Easily checked out by using a jump lead from the battery negative to the engine.

hope the wife's on the mend mate.

Quick update when bridging fuse 16 it turns over ok scared the bejesus out of me that’s without the key in ignition time to call auto electrician me finks

What I have noticed not sure of its relevance but I can hear a sort of high pitch whine coming from somewhere in the car but can’t track it down when the ignition is on

That'll be the wife. Leave her in the house.

Or I guess it could be a loose connection.

I’ve checked few connections oh it runs starter and eas I think when you say connections you mean to the ignition

I seam to remember Wammers saying something about dont turn on the ignition with out the clocks connected, i think meaning dash cluster.
