Hey dudes!

I love my Rangie 4.0 V8 with lpg

But today i loved it even more when i got 246 miles from the lpg tank! (90l tank)

Now at 65.9p a litre (I used my 'points card', 8p a litre off! Next time will be 9p off.) I dont care what anyone says I think thats pretty good! :)

That equates to 12.4 to the gallon, allowing for the price that looks like the same cost per mile as 28 to the gallon of petrol, pretty good. Nearly as good as my diesel which comes in at 30mpg on a run and of course diesel is cheaper over here. I've had just shy of 600 miles on a tankful of diesel.

Data, I filled the LPG up today from empty

It took dead on 70.00 litre of gas, as you prob already know, the '90' litre tank is the 'water capacity' (just how it's measured:rolleyes:)

So going on 70l of LPG and getting 246 miles what would this make the mpg?

I'm not the best at mental articulates lol

just enough to put a big smile on your face by the looks of it:)

OK that's 15.97 Mpg or equivalent on a cost basis to about 32Mpg on petrol, can't be exact, don't know the price of petrol in the UK, better even than my DHSE:eek:

bloody hell how big is the tank, you must of fitted the aftermarket drag behind tanker:D
mine is worse than that can't get more than 450 to a tank but i am doing short journeys and sitting in town traffic.

Yeah I can't believe it myself really!

Petrol at my local is 134.9p! And Deisel 144.9p

Iv started using the rangie more than the diesel Volvo S60 (I'm not an old man yet lol!) :)
