its a castle nut with a split pin through it.. have ya got the split pin out?

there both very tight theres one on the new axle too

looks like ill b going to halfords for a new spanner

Hi Callum I find the easiest way to do a frame bolt is to take the 2 long bolts out through the side and leave it on axle till you get it away from car then you can tackle it better... In fairness the last one I did had ball joint still on new axle..

if the new axle has ball joint attached cant you attach yr a frame to the ball on the new axle?

Just take the 2 long bolts out through sides mate if theres one on new axle much easier

Exactly Nick, easiest way as you'll damage the rubber on the joint and need to change it anyway!

cant make it tomoz,going to check all the oil levels in the 90 ,diffs,gearbox,transfer box,engine,and ime well skint at mo anyway nick..fuel aint cheap nowadays,,would of liked to do holmfirth in daytime too,maybe have a crack at gazes lane (corner)on inside,

wish i could lads but im erm an axle short,

does anyone know how the ell housing releses? ive undone all the bolts but it wont come out, do i need to relese the half shafts too?

any help would e ace!

oh and if anyone has a spare flexi hose nocking about id be verry glad to purchase it from you
