All Paul Ds idea, we just used the route from my Dales laning trip, with a couple of additions

Got bored again, so I am planning another route. Not sure where to go next though. Perhaps I should plan a few. I like researching lanes

Finally managed to get it working on iphone so I dont have to drive and keeping checking laptop. Phone will go on a windscreen mount, will be much easier next time we go exploring "additions"

I find two or even three computers is best

Memory map on one, trailwise on another and NYCC roads on the last (not essential)

Makes it much easier than jumping from one to another on just one machine


Shall we have a competition, choose a destination and see who comes up with the best route

Managed a couple of lanes up Alnwick, will get a lil vid on when I can, did hVE ANOTHER couple planned, but a: ran out of time and b: didnt like the look of them by me tod, and having to get home too.

Gutted on one of those that I did do, a nice 20 foot wide ford was closed, not permanantly (I found after phoning the ROW officer, as it was showing as open on their up to date website, was checking if it was an authorised closure, got an apology, and it was updated within an hour ) they are re-inforcing the bank, which was getting eroded as it was just mud, they are putting in some rock steps
