I can pretty much say Kawak wont be going, saw him on sunday, he's broke his hand...
on the plus side, got me steering guard off him, just cant get the ruddy PS bolt out to fit the bugger.
That and found the P/S tie arm broken, so ordered one of those, got to fit it before friday, towing the caravan!!!

It's a bitch .. combination of well fitting impact socket, Plus-Gas squirted and kept wet over a day or so, and a good dose of extreme violence solved mine .. ;)

just been and bought appropriate sockets today, 19mm for the P/S bolt for me guard, and a 17 for the tie rod.
been giving penetrating fluid 3 times a day, will try a bit of heat tomorrow, just to try to crack it a bit, and let the penetrating fluid in a bit more.
the nut for the guard came off easy enough, its the bolt thats stuck in the chassis.

thanks for the tip, I tend to do that anyway, no idea why, just a habit i picked up.
I usually go, all nuts/bolts fitted (ie in the hole), finger tight, nipped, fully tight...
