north wales lanes

i am planing a birthday trip out with a few friends to north wales. i normally do green lanes in the clwydian range but we are going to bala for the sunday. i have a route planed from os maps but would like it if some one with local knowledge would look over some grid references that i can provide for the lanes i plan to do. just to let me know of any pitfalls we may encounter.
