North Leicestershire and South Nottinghamshire Green Lane Newbie

I'm a newbie looking for some steady lanes to try out in my newly bought P38 and to give green laning a try.
I'm between North Leicestershire and South Nottinghamshire so anywhere around these areas if anyone can suggest any lanes or even a course where I can get a quick introduction into green lane/off road driving I'd appreciate it.
I'm aware of glass-uk but I'm not sure if that's the correct route for a newbie or for a quick try out which is what I'm looking for,just a simple lane would be great.

,I live on the outskirts of West Bridgford,whenever i go laneing its nomally into Derbyshire,I don't go that often but your more than welcome to come with us when we do ,there are some lanes around the south notts area,but to be honest there not that good, and when wet are very very muddy,send me a pm with your details if your interested in joining us,normally there's only a couple of us at any one time and we try to make a day of it.
