Hoy!

It is quarter past eleven - is it running yet?

I am about to go look at TWO Forward Control 101 landies, an ambulance and a wincher.
I might buy them both.
Anyone intersted in an old 101 Truck (winch I think) sound but needs work?

Where should I post details and pics?

good afternoon - checked timing - all seems fine - tried strait push rod where the bent one come from & its rising & lowering like it should - awaiting p/rod & gasket to arrive then we,l give him a whirl & see what happens - wheres me bloody bits lol ???

made an extremely stupid school boy error tho - left the bloody ratchet on the bottom pully - when i first tried to start it the engine locked solid so i thought oh well head off then !!
when i realised what id done i kicked meself - but the ratchet caught the steering pipe as it spun & ripped the pipe strait out of the reservoir - now gotta get one of them !!!!
But its running & im chuffed !

Excellent job, and it sounds just fine.

Well done!

You may never find out why it buckled that pushrod.
It may remain a mystery.

yeah you were right R/H nice one - i think it sucked water through the turbo ( as the pipes seem too large ) - its the only thing i can think of. going to order new turbo pipes & look at air filter box & future snorkel - back on the road but the bloody heater blowers died now - been making strange noises & struggling to go for a while so its dash out next !
