Hi All.
im finally taking the plunge and getting a disco possibley within the next month.
i can weld

.....
i have done laning on bikes but its time to move on.
any other problems apart from head gaskets,leaking sun roofs and door lock probs that i should know about?.

first thing i would do is do a search, millions of useful freds on all the problems

Welcome. All those things you mentioned come as standard. Good news: they all have a fiddly fix. the door locks can send you to the nuthouse.

Bottoms of the doors
Bottomes of the a and b piller
Front inner wings
Rear body crossmember

Is the normal spots for rust then check for rust

Ive had a quick look through the faults page:Cry:,but it was built in Britain...
Ive got welding kit and Im not frightend as i have done minis before.I am a plant fitter,so pretty clued up on mechanical bits and electrics.
