none of my gauges are working?

i started my disco up today just to charge the battery and noticed nothing is working the heaters fuel gauge speedo heater gauge and miles counter dont seem to work has anyone had this problem before as far as i know it was working fine but now i have nothing the cigarette lighter still works thank god

What model of disco would that be? for a D1 I would check my fusible links as a faulty one will take a few circuits as once. But what ever the vehicle check fuses first, then finding what has blown the fuse is then the problem.

will do but would that also stop the the mileage counter from recording the mileage as its stuck on 130k and i drove at least 10 miles without it budging

Well if your speedometer isn't working either, then it won't record any mileage which is a mechanical function unlike say D2s which have an LCD recorded mileage display.

So being mechanical there maybe a fault in the speedo head.
