after recent p and p day the batt warning light came on, alternator again i'm assuming, drove home all ok.
just recharged the battery ( dodgy alternator still on ) put it on and now it wont start. just clicking ( starter prob ) it did turn breifley made a grinding noise and went back to clicking.
i did wash the alternator out yesterday to clean some of the crap off.
this is second alternator in a very short time ( second one was a used one )are the two connected or a coincidence.
was going to tow slowley while in gear to try and turn starter but was'nt sure if this might do more damage
any ideas please
