Hi guys,

In need of advice, we have a P38 that was running brilliantly! Lovely range rover, until recently, went out one morning wouldn't start no life at all, got cousin round to jump it which worked, took it on a jaunt and worked fine for few days, went to go out again in evening and again no life, wouldn't turn over nothing! Again cousin came out and jumped it, started straight away, went to drive following morning and nothing, no lights inside, no turn over nothing, tried bumping it again not even that worked! My friend who is mechanic came round with diagnostics and couldn't find where issue was but assumes its problem between ignition and immobiliser, having read some of the forum threads, I believe issue could be something to do with the becm and have considered get the sync mate, I just don't wanna spend £150 and it not be that, after any helpful advice out here please

Many thanks Ryan cooper
Try Disconnecting the wire from the alarm RF aerial to the alarm ECU. The RF aerial is fixed to the inside of one of the rearmost side windows. What often happens is that RF interference keeps arming the BECM. So instead of drawing 40mA, it is drawing 1A, which will quickly lead to a dead battery.

Alarm RF aerial? WTF? The RF receiver is for locking unlocking and true it can keep the BECM awake and also burn locks but unlikely to be Mozz's problem.
The aerial is printed on the offside rear quarter glass.

It did originally but on the last attempt there is nothing- we think the battery was low and that why the jump started it but on last attempt there is nothing it literally clicks no turn over at all! Would the battery dead lead to it in syncing?? We've bought new battery and it won't start from that - but no engine management light on and what I've read that mean it will need re syncing! Thanks for all advice so far though guys

Check the connections on the starter motor - a poor connection can cause these symptoms. It happened to me and according to the breakdown service, is not uncommon!
